Gerry has been honored three times with the Maintenance Supervisor of the Year Award by the First Coast Apartment Association (FCAA) in 2012, 2022, and 2025—recognizing his excellence in leadership and his lasting impact on property operations. 

Industry Track Record

Gerry began his career as Maintenance Supervisor at Cornerstone at Hunter’s Run in Jacksonville, Florida, where his leadership helped elevate the community into the Top 5 Affordable Properties in the city (2005–2010).

Throughout his 24+ year career, he has successfully managed numerous properties, including notable historical assets such as The Carling at 31 W Adams St and 11 East Forsyth. Under his guidance, resident retention rose from 86% to 99% between 2019 and2025—a testament to his ability to combine operational excellence with resident satisfaction.
